UHF technology
UHF (ultra high frecuency) technology covers the frequency range from 860 Mhz to 960 Mhz and is primarily used where a large reading range is required and as many transponders as possible need to be read in one reading cycle, such as in logistics, inventory and warehouse management.
UHF transponders consist of copper or aluminum antennas etched onto PET with the RFID chip attached to the conductor track using flip-chip technology. In order to achieve the greatest possible range and reliable readability, UHF inlays or transponders are larger than HF/NFC transponders.
For the so-called hard transponders, UHF inlays are converted and encapsulated in PVC or PP.
We offer a large selection of standard antennas, but are also able to adapt the antenna size to our customers' applications. If the UHF transponder needs to be as small as possible, we develop it to customer specifications with copper coils.
